Once an Eagle always an Eagle! I am so excited to be back home in the Mebane community where myself and my family have lived for the past 26 years. I enjoyed watching my two sons attend Woodlawn and Eastern and being there for all the major events in their young lives.

I started my journey at Eastern Alamance as a teacher and coach back in 1998. I still cherish the 14 years I spent there before moving on to school administration in the Graham zone, where I have been since 2012. As a parent, teacher, coach, and now Principal in this zone, I assure you that I will bring a passion and dedication to Woodlawn that can not be matched.

I look forward to an amazing journey with each of you this year as we strive together to continue Woodlawn's rich legacy. Remember, Eagles always are soaring to new heights!

It is always a great day to be an Eagle! I look forward to each opportunity to work with the students and families of Woodlawn Middle School. My experience ranges from high school CTE teacher, serving as a dean of students, and Athletic Director. I have a BS in Sports Management, from Winston-Salem State University, and an MSA from Gardner-Webb University. This is my 2nd year as an assistant principal at the middle school level.

I am very fortunate to be a part of a family of educators. Many of my relatives were school educators and my father is a school bus driver. I am also honored to be the parent of a senior accounting major at UNC-Charlotte.

The staff and I are working very hard to provide the best education possible for all of our students.  I am very fortunate to serve as an AP at Woodlawn Middle.  Please call the school or email me at any time for information or to answer questions. Go EAGLES!!!
