WAMS Weekly Update - 5/04/25

May 4, 2025

Good afternoon Western Alamance Middle School families, this is Principal Aaron Acome.

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and we are so excited to celebrate the incredible educators who make our school such a special place! Our teachers go above and beyond every day to support, inspire, and care for our students and they truly deserve all the recognition we can give. We have a full week of fun activities planned to honor them, and you can find more details in the PTO’s update below.

PTO:   This week is teacher appreciation week. Please show the teachers some love:

Monday: bringing in a flower or seed packet.

Tuesday: write a note or two to a teacher that has been a positive influence on you.

Wednesday: bring a flavoring for water for a teacher that is a positive influence on you.

Thursday: bring  your teacher's favorite candy.

Friday: bring in a school supply to give to your teacher.

8th grade parents don’t forget to send one baby picture in for the slide show for the formal.

All money for fun day and the 8th grade formal are due by May 23. We accept Venmo and cash. The formal is $30 and the fun day is $10.
