Western Alamance Middle and High School announced today that they have successfully secured the $90,000 needed for new bathroom facilities at their stadium and softball fields.

In a ceremony held between the track and baseball field, Athletic Director and Social Studies Teacher Sean Quinn presented the achievement alongside several district leaders. Superintendent Dr. Fleming, Board members, Project Manager Jimmy Russell, Director of Athletics Todd Davis, Western High Principal Bear Bryant, and Western Middle Principal Aaron Acome were all present for the occasion.

The Western Alamance Athletic Booster Club formally presented checks to both schools during the event, marking the culmination of a significant community effort. The funding came from various families and businesses within the Western Alamance community, with contribution levels ranging from $10,000 to $90,000, as displayed on a thermometer-style graphic at the ceremony.

"This project demonstrates the incredible support our schools receive from the community," said Quinn. "The new facilities will benefit our athletes, students, and spectators for years to come."

Many of the project's contributors were in attendance at the ceremony, celebrating the successful completion of the funding phase. Construction is expected to begin soon in the area between the track and baseball field.

The project also received substantial support from local businesses who have pledged donations of labor and materials to complement the monetary contributions.

"Nobody better than our Warrior family," Quinn added, echoing the sentiment displayed prominently on the project's funding graphic.
