Good afternoon Western Alamance Middle School families,
I hope you all had a restful and relaxing weekend and were able to stay warm despite the chilly temperatures. This is a great time to log into Infinite Campus and review your student’s grades and progress. If you notice any missing assignments or areas for improvement, I encourage you to have a conversation with your student to ensure they are staying on track. As we move into another week, we are looking forward to continuing our work together to support our students as we approach the winter break.
PTO:Thanks so much for your continued support of the PTO!! We have a busy week ahead and need some help. We are treating the teachers to duty free lunch on Friday and are in need of crockpots of soup and people to help watch the cafeteria. If you can't send in a crockpot, please feel free to make a donation so that we are able to purchase items for the duty free lunch. We have Venmo & you can always send in a check to the WAMS PTO. and take it to the front office. See the sign up genius link below.

Free and Reduced Lunch Application: Beginning Tuesday 10/7, if students have not submitted an application for this year 2025-2026, they will revert back to a full pay status.
Breakfast and lunch are not universally free for all students. If you would like your child to eat meals at school, you will either need to put money on their online account or you will need to secure a free/reduced lunch status by filling out the required form. Paper forms are available in the WAMS main office or you can fill it out online. Please make sure that you have been approved for free or reduced lunch or that your child has lunch money in their account.
Infinite Campus: As you are aware, ABSS transitioned from PowerSchool to a new student information system, Infinite Campus (IC), over the summer months. This new platform will now be used to access student schedules, grades, attendance, and more. On Monday, August 4, parents/guardians will receive a message from ABSS with instructions on how to create their Infinite Campus Parent Portal account. Please be sure to check your email to get started.
